Bob Marley

Reggae, most people think it's about smoking weed and listening to music. No! Actually it's songs that make everyone wanna sing, dance and unite no matter what race or where you are from. Robert Nesta Marley aka "Bob Marley made powerful music that spoke about love, peace, freedom, unity, respect and joy is what brings us together with the powerful message behind his music. I did this typographic poster in dedication of the legendary reggae artist Bob Marley.  It's an 8.5 x 11 inch poster which has Bob's redemption song lyrics creating Bob Marley's typographic portrait. Rate & comment, this is another great addition to my personal graphic design portfolio.

>Also below is a video of Bob Marley's Movie preview out this year 2012! Finally a movie about the legendary reggae king. I can't wait to see this. Out in theaters, on this legendary date: April 20, 2012. 

Design for Rebelution

This blog is about the past contest I entered for Rebelution's Tee shirt contest. In this illustration I did a thinkin' green owl, something similar to the Bassnectar owl I did for Bassnectar's NYE poster. This owl is meditating over the skies holding a peace sign, resembling peace, harmony, and tranquility. I did my best, but unfortunately I did not win. It's okay though, win or lose, contests like this brings the best out of me and make me better as a designer.

Belated 2012

I know it's been awhile since I posted some designs on, I'm sorry I didn't update my blog spot, I got caught up with a lot of school work and outside projects. Concert Poster

Here are a few concert poster I've designed for a few artist. It was based on a contest, sadly I didn't win but I placed top picks as editor's choice. It's all good to me, win or lose I see it as a way for me to better myself as a illustrator and graphic designer. The first one is the Bassnectar concert poster. Hand drawn and taken to Adobe Illustrator CS5 for some modifications. Size: 16 x 20, Programs Used: Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. "Bumping Bassnectar Owl Poster."

It's been awhile that I have been posting stuff..

I did my own version of designing Tribal Seeds' new EP CD cover. I took the
time to make it better than the original. Not only I did it because it's for a
project, I did it because I am a HUGE fan of Tribal Seeds and all kinds
of reggae artist/ bands. Please send me some feed back on what any of
you guys, much be appreciated.
